Morleys Rooms #3

A good 1 night stay. Positive: The location was excellent for us. Our room (Room 3) is at the back of the property and it was very quiet. We had a good night's sleep. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast items in the room suited us fine. Negative: There was no hairdryer - but one was advertised. The carpet really needs to be be replaced. Some of the paintwork needs to be spruced up. We were a bit concerned that the key code for the main door was the same as the key code for our room as this implies that all 5 rooms share the same key code. There were too many messages and reminders before our stay.

Great quiet location for the best food in town. Positive: Location for dinner at the Bistro was first class. Negative: Location, quite easy check in.

Comfortable stay in a great location for visiting nearby family. Positive: Lovely old building on the High St of a very pretty village. The rooms were quite small but well presented and very clean. My room at the back had beautifully views towards the South Downs. The bistro below served good food and had a great garden. Negative: Narrow step stairs to the rooms but to be expected in a property of this age.

Positive: Staff were super friendly and the hotel is by their bistro. They offer delicious food and exceptional drinks.
